About
Hemani is a fourth-year Solicitor Apprentice currently working with the Pro Bono and ESG Teams in London on a split internal secondment. She is also studying for her LLB in Legal Practice & Skills at the University of Law, London.
Hemani has previously completed seats in Real Estate, Tax, Trusts and Succession, and Family.
Hemani’s apprenticeship is structured to include four annual rotations followed by four six-month rotations, spanning six years. This programme allows her to integrate practical experience of working at the Firm with her academic studies, as she works towards her LLB and prepares for the SQE in years five and six of the Apprenticeship.
Hemani is actively involved in the Firm’s community activities, including organising the annual Diwali celebration and supporting early talent recruitment. She has supervised students from low socio-economic backgrounds through the Firm’s Career Start work experience programme and is developing her pro bono practice by preparing deputyship applications for parents of children who lack capacity due to their special needs.
Hemani has held the role of Class Representative for her cohort at University for the last 4 years.
Outside of work, Hemani serves as the Chair of Amnesty International’s Youth Collective and Vice Chair of their BPM Board.
Hemani will qualify as a Solicitor in November 2028.
