AboutHelen deals with all aspects of planning and environmental law. She acts for a wide range of clients including developers, charities and not for profit organisations, private individuals and corporate entities(including energy companies). In relation to planning matters, her work includes negotiating planning agreements, advising on planning applications and appeals, submitting judicial review, other High Court and Court of Appeal challenges, negotiating highways agreements, dealing with sustainability issues, acting in neighbour disputes, in compulsory purchase schemes and in enforcement proceedings and advising on permitted development and other rights, in relation to largescale housing developments, office, retail and mixed use schemes, listed buildings, hydrocarbon exploration and extraction, windfarms, pharmacies and individual homeowners. She also advises on planning issues arising in property purchases/sales.
On the environmental side, Helen advises on a wide range of environmental issues arising in property and corporate transactions, often dealing with contaminated land matters.
Helen is admitted to practise in England and Wales.

- Acted on a series of Court cases and appeals in relation to obtaining planning consent for hydrocarbon exploration in the Surrey Hills
