Hannah Owen

Senior Associate

Hannah advises on all areas of family law, including relationship breakdown and divorce, financial matters, nuptial agreements, private children law and international surrogacy arrangements.

About

Hannah has experience covering all aspects of family law and has gained particular experience in advising on nuptial agreements, financial settlements on divorce and dissolution, Schedule 1 proceedings, complex private law children issues and international surrogacy arrangements.

She has extensive experience advising on private law children issues, including child arrangements and complex leave to remove applications. She is particularly adept at working with vulnerable clients. 

She also has a particular interest in advising on matters where there are domestic and international pension arrangements.

Hannah often advises on cases where there are international elements. She has worked on cases spanning numerous jurisdictions including Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Colombia, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Georgia, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, the UAE, the USA and Ukraine.   

She is also very involved with the firm’s extensive pro-bono offering and acts as a mentor. She was nominated for the 2025 LawWorks Stephen Denyer Pro Bono Award (Best Contribution by an Individual).

She is a member of Resolution, an organisation committed to resolving family law issues in a non-confrontational and constructive manner. Hannah is also a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children.

Hannah is admitted to practise in England & Wales.
