Erica deals with all areas of family law, particularly with complex ancillary relief cases, many involving international couples with offshore corporate, tax and trust structures. Erica has been involved in a number of high profile reported cases such as Conran and Judge and unreported cases, including one of the largest Schedule 1 cases to come before the London Family Courts. She frequently deals with private Children Act work often involving cross border disputes. She is a member of the IAFL (International Academy of Family Lawyers) and ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Lawyers).
Erica is admitted to practise in England and Wales.
Experience
- Acting for a wife where the husband was non domiciled with extensive off shore assets valued at c£30m with international pension schemes and complex tax structures
- Acting for a husband with a business in Holland which had been built up mainly post separation which was difficult to value and where a significant offer to buy the company was received during the case
- Acting for an oil trader with significant assets where remuneration was largely in the form of deferred shares, receipt of which was dependant on him performing and remaining with the company
- Acting for an immensely wealthy non res non dom father in a schedule 1 case where he was ordered to provide a house for £2m and maintenance of £120,000 for one child
