As a paralegal (IP), Elaine is required to be flexible as she works in different areas and with different cultures. Her diverse skillset allows her to better understand client needs and therefore she is able to tailor-fit each need to the specific situation.

Experience

  • 14 years of experience working in an international law firm for IP and Technology.

  • In-depth knowledge of IPR process in GCC, MENA, US, WIPO, EU.

  • Subject Matter Expert in Trademark Docketing.

  • Working with global counsels and clients for Trademark prosecution (contentious and non-contentious), Patent recordation, Trademark searches and registrability, Trademark Portfolio Transfer, IP transactional work (i.e. Assignment, Merger, Demerger, Change of Name/Address).

  • Underwent Secondment in Baker McKenzie Dallas Office for Patent Prosecution training (US and Non-US procedures).

  • Excellent knowledge in various IP Database Management system such as IPManager, Global IP Manager, WebTMS, Anaqua.
