Didi’s practice focuses on investment funds and financial services matter. She is also experienced in corporate and commercial matters.
Didi advises clients on private equity transactions, merger and acquisitions, private and retail fund matters, as well as compliance and regulatory issues relating to the financial services sector in Hong Kong.
Didi is admitted to practise in Hong Kong. She speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Experience
- Fund houses: Advising on fund financing and assisting in setting up various types of open-ended or closed-ended private investment funds, including hedge funds, equity fund, bond funds and PE funds.
- Licensed corporations: Assisting in obtaining SFC licenses and required approval for marketing and offering retail funds to the public in Hong Kong; advising on licensing, marketing and advertising matters and compliance with Code of Conduct, Fund Manager Code of Conduct, internal control and policies and other SFC rules and guidelines.
- Mutually-recognized Mainland China Funds: Advising several Mainland China fund managers (including Bank of Communications Schroder Fund Management Co., Ltd. and China Southern Fund Management Co., Ltd) on the ongoing compliance of a number of mutually-recognized retail funds allowed for public offering in Hong Kong, with respect to the regulatory and disclosure requirements under Mutual Recognition of Funds Arrangement (MRF).
- Financial institutions and corporate clients: Advising on cross-border financing, real estate financing, pre-IPO financing, receivables financing, working capital financing and acquisition financing.
