David is also a trained Collaborative lawyer and is a governor of a large sixth-form college in central London.

- Acted for a very wealthy husband in H -v- S which was reported several times and involved a London and Saudi Arabian divorce contest and was worth many millions of pounds
- Acted in CZ -v- JM, a high-profile Part III application which set out crucial guidance on when it is advisable to make an urgent application to prevent someone from harassing another or to seek an occupation order
- Other significant cases involve a recent pre-nuptial agreement worth over £20m and two very difficult leave-to-remove children cases which both went to a final hearing (and in which he was successful)
