About

Chiara is a dual qualified lawyer (Italy and England) specialised in employment law. She is highly experienced in advising clients on domestic and cross-border matters concerning all aspects of employment relationships and industrial relations, both contentious and transactional.  Chiara regularly represents clients in court in relation to matters involving violation of post-termination restrictions, unfair and wrongful dismissals, recognition of employment status as well as claims of discrimination and victimisation.  

Chiara is admitted to practise in England and Wales.

Experience

Chiara has extensive experience in assisting senior executives and companies of all sizes, in negotiating and drafting employment contracts and service agreements (including for businesses subject to the SM&CR), incentive plans, consultancy agreements and employee handbooks and policies. She also has experience in managing and terminating employment relationships, in dealing with complex disciplinary procedures and long-term sickness absences, whistleblowing cases as well as negotiating settlement agreements with senior managers and executive directors. Chiara has particular expertise in advising companies in the leisure, hospitality, automotive, telecommunications and gig economy sectors.
