About

Carolyn provides ultra-high net worth clients and family offices with holistic tax advice. She advises on the intricacies of estate and succession planning, investment structures for private wealth (trusts, foundations, insurance wrappers, family investment companies, private label funds – all of which may be UK or non-UK structures), philanthropic activities, and considerations pre- and post-arrival in or departure from the UK. Although a UK specialist, most of Carolyn’s clients have an international focus.

Prior to joining the firm’s Zurich office, Carolyn was Head of Wealth Planning UK at Crédit Suisse, and later leader of the European Wealth Planning team, both pre-merger with UBS. Carolyn’s previous roles include serving in London as a private client tax partner at EY, and as Head of the Specialist Tax Group at HSBC Private Bank.

In her various roles, Carolyn has hosted and spoken at client events.

Carolyn holds a Master of Arts in Classics and a D Phil in Ancient Greek Political History from St Hugh’s College, Oxford.
