Bessie’s practice focuses on data protection laws covering all aspects of privacy issues, including privacy audit, privacy impact assessment, cross-border data transfer, privacy policies, general regulatory compliance and strategic advice in Hong Kong and China.
Bessie also specialises in advising clients on a wide range of intellectual property-related commercial matters, including conducting audits and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring and dissolution of businesses, negotiating and drafting agreements on non-disclosure, assignment, co-existence of trade marks rights, franchise, licensing and technology development agreements.
On the employment law front, Bessie has been advising large corporations all aspect of employment law in Hong Kong ranging from employee benefits, bonus scheme to termination. She also advises employment issues arising from mergers and acquisitions and business restructuring.
Bessie is admitted to practise in Hong Kong. She speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
