About

Andrew has particular experience with disputes arising from international power and infrastructure projects. He acts for government-related entities, multinational corporations and ultra-high net worth individuals.

Andrew started his practice in the UK and has since worked in Dubai, Tokyo and Seoul, before Singapore. He has represented clients in international arbitrations in the DIAC, HKIAC, ICC, JCAA, LCIA and SIAC, and has advised on ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL rules.

Andrew is admitted to practise in England and Wales, and is a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Singapore.

  • A Korean power company in multimillion dollar SIAC arbitration proceedings concerning a shareholder dispute on an Indian power project
  • A Japanese contractor in several billion US$ JCAA arbitration proceedings concerning claims arising from delays and cost overruns on an African power project
  • An international owner of a Bahrain IWPP in US$1.5 billion ICC arbitration proceedings concerning the construction and operation of the plant
  • A Korean contractor in breach of warranty claims against a gas turbine manufacturer
  • An ultra-high net worth individual in BVI court proceedings concerning exiting his interest in an Asian investment company
