Amelia Goodwin, Associate

Amelia advises on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious. She has experience in dealing with and settling Employment Tribunal litigation, including unfair dismissal, discrimination on the grounds of age, sex, race and disability, breach of contract and unlawful deductions of wages. Her non-contentious experience includes day-to-day HR support to corporate clients, drafting and advising on a wide range of employment contracts, consultancy agreements and company policies and procedures. She also advises in relation to post-termination disputes with former senior executives and regularly advises on settlement negotiations and severance terms.


Amelia has considerable experience within the technology sector, having spent 14 months on secondment to the in house legal team of a global technology company. Her time on secondment has provided a valuable insight into the workings of large organisations and the pressures they face, and has strengthened her ability to provide focussed advice.

Amelia is admitted to practice in England and Wales
