Ahmad is a highly experienced commercial litigator with experience of working with a wide variety of high profile international companies and family-owned businesses. He has been involved with many large-scale litigation cases in particular in banking, commercial, real estate, shareholder disputes, company liquidations and criminal matters as well as employment related litigation. He has also successfully assisted clients to enforce several overseas judgments before the UAE local courts. Ahmad manages a number of client relationships across the real estate, banking, telecommunications and education sectors.Experience
- Obtaining judgments in the Court of Appeal of Abu Dhabi for a group of investors against two of the largest master developers (Tamouh-Sorouh) to refund monies which were paid to a brokerage company and not directly to the master developer, with compensation due to loss of opportunity and profit
- Obtaining court judgments in the matters concerning the liquidation and dissolution of commercial companies
- Securing favourable court judgments in defending an international bank for several professional liability cases filed by its customers
- Winning appeal court judgments in the criminal matters of criminal actions, such as a breach of trust, cybercrime, money laundering and fraud
