Adam advises on a wide range of transactions, including IPOs and M&A, with a particular emphasis on the equity capital markets. He advises companies (listed and private) and brokers across a range of sectors on their financing and transactional requirements, as well as general company law advice.

Adam has particular experience of listed company work and City Code M&A, and recently advised the bid consortium on its acquisition of the remaining stake in London Irish Holdings, by way of a Rule 9 offer. He is a regular speaker on corporate finance topics and a contributor to publications including the International Bar Association's Global Insight and Mining World.

Adam is admitted to practise in England and Wales.

Experience highlights

  • Advised Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG, London Branch on a sell-down of existing shares on behalf of the major shareholder in XLMedia plc.
  • Advised a shareholder of Mercom Capital plc (now Monchhichi plc) on its initial investment into the company and subsequent negotiations including changes to the board.
  • Advised Invesco Asset Management Limited in connection with various matters including the admission to the Main Market of PureTech Health plc and a secondary fundraising of Marwyn Value Investors Limited.
  • Advised Cogenpower plc on its admission to AIM and related fundraising.
  • Advised Liberum as sponsor to Volta Finance Limited on the admission of its shares to the premium listing segment of the Official List.
  • Advised the bid consortium on its acquisition of the remaining stake in London Irish Holdings by way of a Rule 9 offer.
