We advised Geoffrey Kent on his sale and reinvestment by way of strategic partnership with Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, to jointly acquire 100% of the Abercrombie & Kent Group.
We advised on their acquisition of new space in a brand new building at Fitzroy Place London W1 on two separate leases. We also acted for Allfunds Bank in the disposal of one of those floors to Netflix Services UK Ltd.
We acted on their new lease at Chiswick Park.
We act for multiple divisions, providing real estate, corporate, construction, planning and finance advice.
We have supported Bill’s with their expansion, by advising on a recent property transaction.
We have supported their UK operations with real estate, construction and planning advice.
We advised the shareholders and management team on investment by specialist asset manager and private equity investor Intermediate Capital Group. Subsequently, we advised on two bolt-on acquisitions.
We advised Puma Investments on its backing of Brewhouse & Kitchen, the fast growing pubs group.
We are on hand to support the team, including on the impact of Brexit.
We advised Cake Box Holdings plc on its AIM IPO.
We have supported CareTech on numerous acquisitions, regular markets work and financing matters, including ground rents transactions, and jointly supported the 2019 takeover of Cambian for £372m.
We have worked with Caring Homes Group for many years on a range of transactions, most notably on a £300m refinancing transaction with Griffin-American Healthcare REIT. This was one of the largest investments in the UK Social Care Sector at the time and a major sale and leaseback transaction.
We first acted for family-owned Countryside Properties in 1967, advising on setting up a development company. Our private client practice has advised the company’s owners, the Cherry family, for some 35 years. This advice spans handling changes of wealth from one generation to another.
We have acted for family-owned Country Court Care through their recent expansion phase, including various financings with alternative investment manager Cheyne Capital. Country Court Care now has over 30 homes making it one of the top 30 operators in the UK.
We have acted for longstanding client Crest delivering a full-service offering in relation to properties across their portfolio.
We have advised international fine wine investment company Cult Wines since 2017.
We have supported them on a number of development projects to grow and expand their business.
We are the legal provider to the Dentex, assisting them with their growth strategy. We completed deals for eight new sites in 2018. The Group intends to add a further 30-40 sites over 2019.
We act for Derwent London across their property portfolio, advising on procurement and construction aspects. This has included Derwent London’s £195m scheme above Tottenham Court Road tube station, with Laing O’Rourke.
We advise Eithad Airways on litigation and arbitration matters.
We have advised fastjet since 2017 on a number of transactions including equity fundraisings, debt financings, acquisitions, restructurings and other matters.
We advised Ferroglobe Plc in connection with their acquisition of new space in Lansdowne House, Berkeley Square on two separate leases and taking extra space and a renewal from their superior landlord upon exit by their direct landlord.
We advised Freddie's Flowers on various EIS and SEIS investment rounds and option schemes.
We have provided legal advice to the Goddard Veterinary Group (and the Goddard family) for many years including supporting on several practice acquisitions over the last few years.
We have provided healthy snack brand graze with M&A advice.
We act as Gulf Air’s external counsel on a range of commercial, dispute and corporate work, as well as being sole IP counsel. We manage their trade mark and design portfolios globally.
We have recently been instructed by HelloFresh to support them with their legal needs in the UK.
We acted on their exit from premises at 82 Dean Street and entry into a new UK headquarter lease from the Great Portland Estate of approximately 12,000 square feet of space at Elsley House Great Titchfield Street, following a full refurbishment of the building by the landlord.
We have helped Honest to protect its brand as they grow, through an international trade mark filing programme and its wider brand protection in the UK and internationally.
We have supported Hotel Chocolat by providing all day to day HR and employment advice.
We advised on its disposal of leasehold premises at Green Park, Reading to Virgin Media Limited and simultaneous acquisition of leasehold premises at M&G’s development at Forbury Place, Reading.
We support itsu [grocery] across a range of trade mark and other intellectual property matters, helping to protect their healthy vibrant brand internationally.
We advise in respect of its operational office portfolio, including work relating to its head office at 201 Bishopsgate London, The Rex Building London, 8 Lancelot Place London, 1 Knightsbridge Green London and Citypoint 1 Ropemaker Street London.
We assist Juno Health Ltd to deliver their acquisition strategy. In 2018 we completed corporate acquisitions for 8 new pharmacies with further acquisitions planned for 2019.
We support Leon on the full range of employment related issues for their outlets.
Encouraging and motivating their staff with a consistent approach will be a key element to their success. We are supporting Loungers on managing and retaining this talent.
We have advised Minster Care Group owners Mahesh and Surendra Patel over the last 30 years, including on the sale of a portfolio of 58 residential care homes for £152.8m to Impact Healthcare REIT plc and on four previous exits including the recent sale of specialist provider, Pathways Care Group.
We advised on the high profile, transformational redevelopment of Bahrain International Airport on all the contracts from Main Contractor to all sub-contractors, as well as advising on their ongoing airport modernisation program.
We advised NEC on a complex restructuring of the occupation of its headquarters building.
We are the prime legal adviser for Nike for all of their European operations. We acted for Nike in relation to its UK HQ relocation from Film House, Soho to Argent’s prestigious new development at Kings Cross Central.
