Charles Russell Speechlys advises AgDevCo on investment into Rwandan maize producer and on Ugandan joint venture
Charles Russell Speechlys has advised AgDevCo on two of its latest investments, the first into Minimex Limited, one of Rwanda's leading producers of maize product, and the second into the development of a commercial pig farm in Kampala, Uganda.
AgDevCo is a social impact investor and project developer operating exclusively in the agriculture sector in Sub-Saharan Africa. Its mission is to build successful African agribusinesses through long-term investment and support, in order to deliver positive impact at scale. Currently working in nine sub-Saharan African countries, AgDevCo invests in socially-responsible businesses, operating across the agri-supply chain. In addition to direct investment, AgDevCo provides on-the-ground technical support and specialist agricultural advice to management teams.
