Charles Russell Speechlys has advised the founders of Charterhouse Voice & Data Plc (Charterhouse) on a strategic investment by August Equity LLP to accelerate its growth and secure funding to embark on a buy and build strategy.
Charterhouse, founded in 1993, is a multi-award winning provider of voice communication, data, hosting and cyber security to mid and large tier customers, based in the UK and internationally. Its customers span many sectors and include Air Partner, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, CBRE, Canary Wharf Group and M&C Saatchi. The company is a preferred partner for leading communications providers such as EE, Avaya, Mitel, Cisco and Palo Alto, amongst others.
The corporate team at Charles Russell Speechlys utilised their expertise in the TMT sector to provide expert and bespoke advice to the Charterhouse team on the deal.
