Charles Russell Speechlys advises the Civica Group on the acquisition of Carval Computing Limited
Charles Russell Speechlys has advised the Civica Group (an investee company of OMERS Private Equity) on the acquisition of Carval Computing Limited, a market leader in business-critical software applications, digital solutions and outsourcing services.
Based in Plymouth and Newport Pagnell with offices in Harlow, Carval provides integrated HR and payroll systems and related payroll processing services, including cloud-based solutions, employee self-service technology and mobile apps. Its software applications are used in more than 300 installations, ranging from organizations with fewer than 100 employees to those with more than 10,000, spanning both public and private sectors.
The acquisition brings complementary capability which the Civica Group does not currently offer, adding to Civica’s broad portfolio and strengthening its capability to expand on the current market presence of both organisations.
