Charles Russell Speechlys Luxembourg provide the legal advice for first RAIF platform
We are pleased to announce that the first Reserved Alternative Investment Funds (RAIF) platform has been launched.
Charles Russell Speechlys Luxembourg assisted TMF and Crestbridge to structure, from a legal, regulatory and tax point of view, this RAIF platform.
The RAIF platform can cater to all types of asset classes, from private equity, real estate and hedge fund, to plain vanilla or more “out of the box” investments strategies.
The time to market is really limited as no approval is needed at the level of the RAIF. However the supervision exists at the level the AIFM.
Thanks to the possible segregation of the assets and liabilities,it gives comfort to the initiators who can use it as an incubator.
David Louis, Head of Investment Management and Funds states: “It was a great opportunity for Charles Russell Speechlys Luxembourg to prove its ability to react rapidly to the market change and to provide its clients with new solutions. It is a new milestone for our Luxembourg office.”
If you have any queries about the new RAIF platform please contact any lawyer from our Investment Management and Funds department at Charles Russell Speechlys Luxembourg.
