Charles Russell Speechlys act on Peppermint sale
The team at Charles Russell Speechlys has acted for valued clients OLM Group Limited on the sale of Peppermint Technologies Limited to Peppermint Technology Holdings Limited, a newly formed company funded by leading venture capital firm, Scottish Equity Partners.
Peppermint's focus is to provide a Legal Service Platform which draws upon one database and combines all the different legal software applications required by a law firm.
OLM and it shareholders have retained a stake in Peppermint, which is set to grow with the £10 million of funding injected into the business by Scottish Equity Partners.
Speaking of the deal, Peter O’Hara of OLM said: "A strong, experienced team of professional advisors is essential to keep everyone focused and on track when selling a business. Sarah Wigington and her colleagues from Charles Russell Speechlys provided us with the right blend of skills, experience and support to ensure a successful conclusion for all parties. As our professional 'critical friend' they were invaluable to us as we navigated the transactional labyrinth, a big thank-you to them. "
The team was led by Corporate Partner Martin Wright, aided by Corporate Senior Associate Sarah Wigington.
The team was assisted by James Meakin and Robert Birchall (Corporate Tax), Will Squires and Sarah Mould (Corporate), and Jennifer Pierce and Christina Fleming (Commercial).
