Charles Russell Speechlys advises sellers and management of Nerim
Charles Russell Speechlys has recently acted as legal adviser to the sellers and management of Nerim in relation to Nerim’s secondary buyout by Dzeta Conseil, on the basis of a corporate value between 65M and 80M€. Nerim is a French B2B telecoms operator which was founded in 1999 and based in Paris.
Nerim has historically positioned itself as the key independent B2B telecom operator on broadband in the Paris region. Through a policy of carefully selected acquisitions, Nerim has then extended its geographic reach nationwide and developed its product offering (ADSL, xDSL, fixed & mobile telephony, Cloud, Hosting) to fully address the communication needs of its clients (SoHos, SMEs and Public Administrations).
Boasting an average annual growth rate of 30% since inception, Nerim now generates revenues close to €40m.
The company is now being acquired by Dzeta Conseil which becomes Nerim’s new reference shareholder alongside management. This acquisition will allow Nerim to grow in France and abroad by capitalising on the company’s high-end infrastructure, its technical DNA and its large client portfolio.
The transaction was led from our Paris office by Corporate Partner Thibaut Caharel, with assistance from Corporate Associate Quentin Vielcastel. Commenting on the transaction, Thibaut said: “ We are delighted to have advised LBO Partners again, after a first LBO back in 2012, as well as the management. Nerim is an exciting business, considered as a jewel of the French telecom industry, and we are looking forward to working with the business as it pursues an active expansion strategy. ”
