Payment Services Regulator issues statement of objections to five companies in the pre-paid cards market

The Payment services regulator has issued a statement of objections to five companies operating in the pre-paid cards market.  The statement of objections alleges that Mastercard, allpay, APS, PFS and Sulion engaged in anti-competitive behaviour by agreeing not to compete or poach each other’s clients.  Click here.

Digital Markets Unit launches  

The Digital Markets Unit, established within the CMA, has started its operations in order to lay the foundations for a new pro-competition regime for digital markets.  Click here.
