European Commission clears Aurubis' acquisition of Metallo

The European Commission has cleared Aurubis' acquisition of Metallo following an in-depth phase 2 merger investigation. The Commission was satisfied that, as a consequence of the transaction, the merged entity would not be able to impose lower prices for the copper scrap it purchases. Click here.
