Ofcom opens competition investigation into parcel delivery and pick-up services
Ofcom has opened an investigation under the Competition Act into agreements between providers of parcel delivery and pick-up services, which it suspects establish minimum prices and impose online sales restrictions. Click here.
CMA closes generic pharmaceuticals investigation
The CMA has closed one of its investigations in the pharmaceutical sector on administrative priority grounds. The CMA launched the investigation in October 2017, which related to alleged anti-competitive agreements and/or concerted practices and suspected abuse of dominance in relation to a generic pharmaceutical product.
