CMA launches formal investigation into Sainsbury’s/Asda merger
The CMA has launched its formal investigation into the proposed merger between Sainsbury’s and Asda. It will therefore now begin its phase 1 review of the merger. The CMA is inviting views on the merger and on the parties’ request for a fast track reference to a phase 2 investigation. Click here.
