Final Fox/Sky undertakings accepted
The Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport has confirmed that the Fox/Sky merger can proceed as final undertakings given by Fox and Disney in have now been accepted. The undertakings require the divestment of Sky News to Disney. Click here.
European Commission opens phase 2 investigation into Siemens’ proposed acquisition of Alstom
The European Commission has opened an in-depth phase 2 merger investigation into the proposed acquisition of Alstom by Siemens. The Commission is concerned that the merger may reduce competition in the supply of certain types of trains and signalling systems. Click here.
