CMA issues final decision on ICE/Trayport merger

The CMA has issued its final decision in relation to the ICE/Trayport merger, deciding that ICE should sell Trayport to preserve competition in wholesale energy trading.  Click here.

CMA proposes to refer convenience store acquisition for phase two investigation

The CMA is proposing to refer Co-op’s acquisition of a number of My Local convenience stores for a phase two investigation, unless suitable undertakings are given.  The CMA is concerned that the acquisition of the store in Widnes, Cheshire, may give rise to competition concerns.  Click here.
