Building and Fire Safety Seminar Series

The Building Safety Act has introduced a raft of regulatory changes that overnight imposed far greater burdens on anyone involved in the design, construction, ownership and development of residential buildings and introduced new areas of real estate and construction law:

  • Introducing new statutory causes of action against those involved in residential buildings
  • Raising the potenial for associated companies to also be liable for defects of its sister/parent companies
  • Increasing the limitation period for certain building defects
  • Imposing a new regulatory regime for new and exisiting "High Risk Buildings"

The understanding of these issues is critical to any landowners, developers and contractors involved in residential development and to help guide you through the major issues introduced by the Act, we are hosting a three part seminar series.

21 February - Impact of the Building Safety Act on service charge recoverability and associated landlord liability issues.

7 March - New regulatory regime.

Date / Time: 25 January, 21 February and 7 March / 08:00 - 11:30
