Surveyors' Webinar 6 May 2020
Join us at our next Surveyors' Webinar where four of our property experts will address some of the key legal issues and challenges facing commercial property owners occupiers and investors relating to planning changes, delays to works due to the lockdown and social distancing requirements and how this has impacted on property contracts.
The workshop will focus on some of the key legal issues and problems which have arisen as a result of the pandemic, and will address the practical issues which landlords, tenants, investors and surveyors need to address in light of these changes.
We will be exploring:
- How the planning rules have changed to accommodate different temporary uses, to allow planning committee meetings to be held virtually and further changes currently being considered by Government to help developers, landowners and Councils.
- Where construction sites or buildings which are being refurbished have been closed or projects delayed due to the pandemic what are the legal and risk consequences and what practical steps can be taken now?
- How can you practically address current delays and what issues should you address in property contracts to reflect potential second or third waves of Covid-19?
As always the session will be interactive so that you can share your views and experiences with us and raise questions.
We aim to start at 13:00 and finish at approximately 14:00.
