Managing People: Neurodiversity - maximise the potential of your workforce
Neurodiversity is an umbrella term for conditions including autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia. With an estimated 1 in 7 UK workers being neurodivergent, maximising the potential of all your employees is essential.
In this session you will:
- Gain an understanding of Neurodiversity in a workplace context.
- Recognise how the strengths of Neurodiverse employees can benefit your business.
- Understand your obligations in recruitment and during employment to adapt processes to capitalise on Neurodiverse talent.
- Identify ways to make your workplace inclusive so Neurodiverse staff can succeed in their roles.
We are fortunate to be joined in hosting this session by Daniel Aherne from Adjust, an organisation specialising in Neurodiversity training for employers. He has worked with companies including EY, TKMaxx, HS2 and Unison.
