Webinar series: Preparing for the GDPR: What you need to know about the biggest change to EU data protection law for a generation
The EU General Data Protection Regulation enters into force on 25 May 2018. It is the biggest change to data protection law in a generation. With new requirements, more onerous sanctions for non-compliance and widened extra-territoriality, it will have a significant impact on a very wide range of organisations (including not just those within the EU, but potentially worldwide).
This webinar will provide attendees with a useful re-cap (or introduction!) to the key issues and include a discussion of some practical compliance steps that organisations should consider taking between now and May.
This is part of a series of three webinars all addressing issues affecting specific areas of IP law.
