Following the popularity of our roundtable in July, we will be running a repeat GDPR bitesize training session for charities on 22 November.
This is a must-attend session for anyone involved in fundraising for a charity and for charity trustees and members of the management team wishing to learn more about the forthcoming changes.
This session will examine how the GDPR will affect charities’ direct marketing, fundraising and other activities, particularly focussing on whether consent will remain the most appropriate basis for processing personal data for direct marketing purposes.
We will also consider the interplay of the Fundraising Code and the Charities (Protection and Social Investment) Act 2016 with the GDPR and examine the additional requirements this may place on charities.
Date / Time: 22 November 2017 / 16:15-19:00
