MAR breakfast roundtable
This seminar is currently fully subscribed.
This breakfast roundtable will focus on updates on practical issues that we and our clients have faced (including the market soundings regime, delaying disclosure of inside information and practice on the “inside information” rubric on announcements) in the nine months since the Market Abuse Regulation came into force.
We will also discuss the implications of the further guidance published by ESMA, the FCA and other bodies since our 3 November 2016 roundtable and then open the floor to a discussion to hear your thoughts and experiences post 3 July 2016. The Chatham House Rule will apply.
The roundtable session will be led by Victoria Younghusband, who is chair of the Joint Market Abuse Working Party of the Company Law Committees of the City of London Law Society and the Law Society, and continues to discuss MAR issues with the FCA. Paul Arathooon, who is a member of the Legal Experts Group of the Quoted Companies Alliance, will also contribute.
