Decisions Digested: Kensquare v Boakye

In this Decisions Digested session, we were joined by James Fieldsend and Edward Blakeney of Tanfield Chambers to discuss the Kensquare v Boakye case (where they represented the tenant). This Court of Appeal decision looked at the recoverability of interim service charges and a landlord’s legal costs from a long leaseholder of a residential lease, but it has wider implications and anyone involved with property management should be aware of these.
