HS2 Blog

Welcome to Charles Russell Speechlys HS2 Blog. We will be providing regular updates, keeping you informed on the latest with HS2.

It is rare that a day goes by without some mention of High Speed Two (HS2), whether in the mainstream or trade press. It is a subject very close to the hearts of many people and organisations, and whether they support or oppose it, there can be no doubt that it remains one of the most controversial infrastructure projects championed by Government in recent history.

This blog will be produced by the Charles Russell Speechlys dedicated HS2 team (led by David Haines and Richard Flenley). It will have as its main focus the key HS2 news and updates – particularly relevant to the impact of the HS2 proposals on property owners (and other interested parties) in and around the proposed route.

We approach these issues from a position of knowledge and experience in this field.

The Charles Russell Speechlys HS2 team (being long-established experts on compulsory purchase, transport infrastructure cases and having been appointed as ‘Roll B’ Parliamentary Agents for the Crossrail petitioning process) can offer experienced legal and commercial advice to help at each stage of the process. We would be delighted to discuss with you your options for holding the project to account, altering HS2 policy and importantly for protecting your interests.

We do hope that you find this blog useful and informative. We would welcome your feedback and, if you have any queries regarding HS2, please do get in touch.
