Charles Russell Speechlys shortlisted in two categories for Legal Business Awards 2026

min read

Charles Russell Speechlys is delighted to have been shortlisted for this year’s Legal Business Awards. The Firm has been recognised in two categories: Business Services Team of the Year, and ESG Programme of the Year.

The 29th annual Legal Business Awards, powered by Legal 500, celebrates excellence across the legal profession, covering private practice, in-house teams and chambers. The awards ceremony is recognised as a major industry event, bringing together around 1,000 senior legal figures. Amongst new categories introduced in this year’s Awards, is the Business Services Team of the Year – designed to recognise the most influential business services teams and their contributions to the sector.

The Firm’s shortlisting in the inaugural Business Services Team of the Year category showcases the leadership of its Legal Technology team, who collaborated with 11 distinct business services teams across the Firm to deliver a complex legal project management transition. The ESG Programme of the Year shortlisting recognises the Firm’s integrated approach to building long term organisational capacity among the Charles Russell Speechlys Foundation charity partners.

Lesley O’Leary, Chief Operating Officer, says:

Our dual recognition in this year’s Legal Business Awards shortlist reflects the strength of our Business Services teams and the important role they play in driving forward legal technology transformation, ESG initiatives, and innovation and skills development across the firm. Congratulations to all involved on this well-earned acknowledgment.

The full shortlist is available here.

The winners will be announced at the Legal Business Awards Night on 29th September 2026, in Mayfair, London.
