Charles Russell Speechlys is pleased to announce the appointment of Nadim Meer as Partner in the Corporate team.

Nadim joins the Firm from Mishcon de Reya, where he was Corporate Partner and Head of Private Equity. His practice spans a broad range of corporate work within the private equity market, primarily advising founders and management teams on buyouts and growth capital investments with fully independent, conflict-free advice. Alongside this, Nadim advises a range of corporates on strategic transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and joint ventures. He also regularly supports alternative investors of private capital on their investments.

Nadim advises on UK and cross-border transactions with particular experience in the business services, technology and consumer sectors. He is an Advisory Board member of KERB+, a social enterprise, cooking up positive social impact through street food.

Prior to his role at Mishcon, Nadim spent over seven years at Dundas & Wilson (now CMS), where he was a Private Equity Partner. Before that, he spent another seven years in the Corporate & Private Equity team of Hammonds (now Squire Patton Boggs).

Another of Nadim's key interests is purpose-driven businesses. In his previous role, he regularly assisted clients in navigating purpose, sustainability, and ESG issues. He was also a Training Principal and Co-Chair of Mishcon’s Race Equity Committee.

David Collins, Partnerwho is responsible for the Firms Business Advisory & Transaction Services Division, which includes the Corporate, Commercial, Banking and Finance, Corporate Tax and Incentives, Financial Services and Funds, Employment and Immigration teams, comments:

Nadim is a terrific addition to our Corporate team and has a compelling track record in private equity, fundraising and strategic M&A. He has a wealth of experience supporting both corporate clients and non-institutional investors and is a strong fit given the Firm’s focus on private capital. Nadim’s arrival strengthens our capability in advising founders, management teams and private investors, and we expect him to play a significant role in supporting our clients’ growth ambitions across the UK and internationally.

Nadim Meer comments:

Charles Russell Speechlys has a distinctive position in private capital and a clear strategy for growth. I’m excited to be joining a Firm with such a strong alignment with the needs of my clients and such a compelling and ambitious vision for its corporate team.

Nadim’s appointment follows several other transactional and advisory appointments in recent months. The Firm appointed funds and real estate Partner Ed Morgan and corporate tax and incentives Partner Vadim Romanoff in November 2025, as well as Partner and seasoned funds specialist Matthew Griffin in October 2025.
