Charles Russell Speechlys appoints new Paris office head
min readCharles Russell Speechlys today announces the appointment of Partner Thibaut Caharel as the new Head of its Paris Office, effective from 1 May 2026. Thibaut will succeed Partner Frédéric Jeannin in the role, who has led the Paris office since 2013. Frédéric led the Paris office through a strong period of consistent growth. As of 1 May 2026, the Paris office will count 39 lawyers, including 15 Partners.
Thibaut has been at the Firm since day one of the Paris office opening and serves as Partner in the Firm’s Corporate practice. Day-to-day, he advises financial investors and management teams on leveraged buyouts transactions, growth capital, disposal, and assists industrial groups with their internal reorganizations and acquisitions, as well as asset disposals. He also has experience in reorganisation of corporate groups and in establishing joint ventures and commercial partnerships.
