min read

Charles Russell Speechlys today announces the appointment of Marguerite Brac de La Perrière as its first-ever IT, Data and AI Partner in Paris.

Marguerite joins the Corporate team from Fieldfisher where she was a Tech & Data Partner and head of the Paris Digital department.

Marguerite has a strong IT, Data and AI practice, with particular expertise in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. With over 15 years' experience in Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence (AI), she is a pioneer and a leading figure in these fields in France.

She acts as a business partner to clients in the fields of Data Protection, AI and Digital Health. She also offers strategic support in drafting and negotiating complex IT contracts. Marguerite advises a wide range of international stakeholders in the Tech, Life Sciences and Digital Health sectors. She also acts as Data Protection Officer for several players in the healthcare and industrial sectors.

Michael Lingens, Regional Lead for Continental Europe, commented:

The appointment of Marguerite as an IT, Data and AI Partner in Paris is a significant step in the continued execution of our European growth strategy. As technology, data and regulation increasingly intersect, Marguerite’s deep expertise and market insight will be invaluable to clients navigating complex, cross‑border digital transformation projects across Europe and beyond.

Frédéric Jeannin, Partner and Head of the Firm’s Paris office, added:

Technology and data are now central to the strategic priorities of our clients in France, from high‑growth scale‑ups to established multinational businesses. Marguerite’s arrival reflects both the strength of the Paris market and our commitment to investing in senior talent that enhances our local and international offering, and strengthens our ability to support clients on their most complex and business‑critical digital initiatives.

Marguerite Brac de La Perrière said:

I am delighted to be joining the Firm at a time when technology and data issues are at the forefront of clients’ board‑level decision‑making. I am also excited to be joining a team that shares my ambitions for growth and dynamism. The strength of the Paris office, combined with the Firm’s international platform, presents a compelling opportunity to support clients with complex, multi‑jurisdictional matters.

Marguerite will be joined by two associates, including Léa Rogerie who has been working with her for around two years.

Marguerite’s appointment follows those of Litigation and Dispute Resolution Partner Luca Beffa in Geneva and Real Estate Partner Chiara del Frate in London in January, as well as those of Litigation and Dispute Resolution Partner Aline Wey Speirs in Zurich last year and of international arbitration specialists Henry Winter and Gavin Margetson in Singapore in June and Jue Jun Lu in London in September 2025. The Firm also opened an office in Milan in November 2024, bolstering it with the appointment of Partner Annapaola Negri-Clementi and her team in October 2025.
