Charles Russell Speechlys advises Nortal on its acquisition of Nearsure

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised longstanding client Nortal, a strategic innovation and technology company, on its acquisition of Nearsure, a U.S.-based technology solutions provider with talent across 18 Latin American countries.

This acquisition reinforces Nortal’s expansion strategy in the Americas and will allow for leveraging of innovative talent from Latin America. Since 2018, Nearsure’s expertise has focused on enterprise solutions, low-code and SaaS development, AI-driven digital transformation and consulting, custom software development, and staff augmentation. The company’s partners include Adobe, Microsoft, Salesforce and ServiceNow. Nearsure’s business offers a strong complement to Nortal’s and they will both continue to expand their joint offering portfolio and drive new global business opportunities.

Martin Aas, Chief Legal Officer at Nortal, commented:

It was a pleasure to work with the team at Charles Russell Speechlys again on another exciting deal, our largest yet. Their expertise, understanding of our business and personal touch were important in the seamless completion of this complex acquisition.”

Hamish Perry, Corporate Partner, commented:

As always, we were delighted to be able to work the team at Nortal on this acquisition that allowed us to showcase both our tech sector expertise and our strong international network, across the United States and South America. We look forward to seeing Nearsure expand and develop as a result of this deal.”

The team was led by Corporate Partner Hamish Perry and Senior Associate Nathan Lightman, working alongside Associate Charlotte Yam.
