Charles Russell Speechlys announces new Dual Private Client Managing Partner roles

Charles Russell Speechlys are pleased to announce the appointment of Piers Master and William Marriott as Dual Divisional Managing Partners (DMPs) for the Private Client Division, effective from 1 May 2025.

Their appointment succeeds the leadership of Robert Blower, whose exceptional contributions to the Private Client Division since 2021 have laid a strong foundation for future growth and success. Throughout this period, the Firm has strengthened its footprint in Southeast Asia and continental Europe with the successful opening of its Singapore and Milan office, launched a pioneering Private Office, welcomed four lateral Partners to the Private Client division and supported six to Partnership.

This innovative leadership structure aims to enhance the Division's operational efficiency and maximise client service excellence.

Piers Master, says:

We are honoured to take on the role of Dual DMPs for the Private Client Division and extend our heartfelt thanks to Robert for his dedication and vision over the past four years. Our approach is designed to ensure seamless leadership while allowing us to maintain our integral client-facing responsibilities.

"By sharing responsibilities, we can focus on strategic growth while remaining accessible to our people. We look forward to working in conjunction with the other Divisions and international offices to build and enable a cohesive and profitable global business, attracting the best work from around the world for the Division and rest of the Firm.

William Marriott, adds:

The dual DMP role is a novel approach and reflects the growing demands and adaptability of our Division. We are committed to fostering an exciting and innovative Division that is internationally recognised as leading and delivering premium advisory and transactional Private Client services to owners of private capital.

"Together, we look forward to progressing and evolving our strategy to deliver transformational change and add real value to our clients.

Simon Ridpath, Managing Partner, adds:

Our focus on succession planning and leadership development is integral to meeting the evolving demands of the private capital world and ensuring the future success of our Firm.
