Charles Russell Speechlys launches 'Up in the AI' podcast series covering GenAI in the legal sector

Charles Russell Speechlys today announces the launch of a new podcast series, ‘Up in the AI’, created in partnership with LegalTechTalk. The series will feature a range of high-profile industry guests discussing the transformative impact that Generative AI (GenAI) is having on various aspects of the legal sector.

Hosted by Joe Cohen, Director of Advanced Client Solutions at Charles Russell Speechlys, the series will be aired in six parts throughout 2025.

Confirmed guests include Christina Blacklaws, former President of the Law Society, Dan Hunter, Executive Dean at the KCL Dickson Poon School of Law, industry expert Reena SenGupta, CEOs/Founders of legal tech startups Jigsaw, Springbok.ai, Definely and Avvoka, Heads of Innovation/Digital from other law firms and General Counsels from leading organisations such as GSK, Marie Curie, and World Rugby.

Each episode of 'Up in the AI' explores a unique angle of Generative AI's influence on the legal sector, covering topics such as:

  • Generative AI in legal education
  • The role of AI in in-house legal teams
  • The impact on legal tech startups
  • The integration of AI within law firms
  • Enhancing access to justice through AI
