Charles Russell Speechlys advises Acora on its acquisition of Elastacloud

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised long standing client, Acora, the UK-based IT and cyber security technology services provider, on its acquisition of Elastacloud, a trailblazer in data science and artificial intelligence. This strategic acquisition brings together two companies with a shared vision to drive innovation and shape the future of data and AI.

This acquisition aligns with Acora’s goal to provide end-to-end service across IT, cyber and data security, and cloud first transformation. The partnership will combine Elastacloud’s forward thinking approach to AI and data science with Acora’s established IT and cyber security services portfolio to foster a culture of innovation. This expansion creates a combined group of around 1000 people globally.

This is the latest in a series of acquisitions on which the Charles Russell Speechly team has advised Acora.

David Hemmings, Chief Acquisitions Officer, commented:

It was great to work with the Charles Russell Speechlys team again. Their expertise and knowledge are important in both delivering practical support during each transaction and helping us drive forward our wider M&A activity.

Mark Howard, Corporate Technology Partner, commented:

It was a pleasure to work with Acora again on this significant transaction and we look forward to seeing the exciting and innovative changes this partnership will bring. This deal demonstrates our strong expertise in the IT services sector, and we look forward to working with Acora on future deals.

Legal Director Tom Smitham and Associate Joseph Fleming (Corporate) led the deal.
