Charles Russell Speechlys advises Advania on the acquisition of UK-based IT solutions provider Servium

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised long-standing client Advania, a leading managed and professional services provider and one of Microsoft’s leading partners in the UK, on the acquisition of Servium.

This deal allows Advania to widen their range of services, software and hardware procurement for customers, as well as strengthen relationships with leading manufacturers and distributors. The combination of Advania and Servium will allow the UK mid-market the same level of sophisticated procurement options as the largest enterprises have access to.

Advania aims to empower people to create sustainable value with the clever use of technology through providing a broad array of consulting services, software development, eBusiness services and infrastructure solutions for private and public bodies.

Henrik Foyn-Laukvik, Group Chief M&A Officer, commented:

Thank you to the Charles Russell Speechlys team for their invaluable help and insights. Their knowledge of the IT services sector and M&A deal craft is excellent, and always helps to get to the bottom of and resolve the key points. We are delighted to welcome the Servium Team to Advania and look forward to increasing our breadth and value of work.

Mark Howard, Corporate Technology Partner, commented:

We are delighted to have worked with Andy, Henrik and the Advania UK team again as Advania UK continues its growth journey, our 8th transaction for them. We wish Advania UK all the best as it continues to grow and expand its business with the addition of Servium.

The team was led by Corporate Partner Mark Howard with support from Corporate Associates James Scott and Nia John, and Solicitor Apprentice Ariella Tanfield. The wider team included Mark Bailey, Caroline Young, Charles Mallows, Victor Mound, and Dillon Ravikumar (Commercial), Mike Powner and Tilly Whittingham (Employment), Rhys Novak (Dispute Resolution), Sarah Keens (Real Estate), and Robert Birchall and Tessa Newman (Corporate Tax).
