Paula Boast awarded MBE for services to UK-Bahrain business relations

Paula Boast MBE, Partner and Head of Construction, Engineering & Projects for the Middle East, has been awarded Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in King Charles III's first-ever New Year’s Honours 2023 Overseas and International List. Paula is Vice-Chair of the Bahrain British Business Forum and is recognised for her long-term dedication to services to UK and Bahrain business relations.

Patrick Gearon, Partner & Head of Middle East, Charles Russell Speechlys LLP, comments:

“This is a tremendous and well-deserved recognition of Paula’s commitment to promoting business and investment relationships between Bahrain and Britain over many years. As Vice-Chair of the Bahrain British Business Forum, Paula’s continual enthusiasm in demonstrating to the local business community the commitment of British interests in Bahrain has been instrumental in enhancing relationships for many across the business communities, including our Firm.”

Paula Boast MBE, Partner and Head of Construction, Engineering & Projects for the Middle East, Charles Russell Speechlys LLP, comments:

“I am hugely honoured to have been awarded an MBE in King Charles III’s first New Year Honours List.

But these things are not a solo effort. So many people have worked so very hard together over many years on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom. This award is as much for our volunteering committee, the executive team, and of course, all of our members at the Bahrain British Business Forum, and our colleagues at the British Embassy Bahrain, the Department of International Trade and UKEF Middle East.”
