Charles Russell Speechlys advises Shore Capital as nomad and broker on Helios Underwriting plc £20m fundraising

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised long-standing client, Shore Capital, as nomad and broker on the £20m fundraising for AIM-listed insurance underwriters, Helios Underwriting Plc. The funds were raised through a placing, subscription and open offer.

Helios is an AIM-listed investment company offering investors growth and returns from exposure to Lloyd’s. On admission, Helios will acquire four Lloyd’s LLV entities with the vision of providing a good spread of business being concentrated in property insurance and reinsurance.

Nigel Hanbury, Chief Executive of Helios, commented: “On behalf of the Board I wish to thank our investors, new and existing, for their support. We now look forward to working with our new colleagues and partners to execute our strategy, which we are confident will be value enhancing for shareholders.
