Charles Russell Speechlys advises Purdy & Figg Ltd on equity fundraising round

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised Purdy & Figg Ltd, a family owned manufacturer of luxury hand sanitizers, on its recent equity fundraising round.

Purdy & Figg Ltd was established 2 years ago by founders NHS nurse Purdy Rubin and horticulturalist Charlotte Figg - with the goal to reduce plastic waste and the number of toxic chemicals used in natural, premium cleaning products. Purdy’s two sons, Charlie and Jack, have since joined the business to take over the management, leaving Purdy and Charlotte the time to concentrate on creating new products in the 'lab'.

Hamish Perry, Corporate Partner who led on the deal commented, “We are committed to helping growing businesses achieve their commercial ambitions as they continue to successfully expand. We were delighted to support Charlie and Jack on this fundraising round, and look forward to seeing their business continue to flourish.

The Charles Russell Speechlys team was led by Hamish Perry with support from Corporate Associate James Scott, Tax Partner Helen Coward and Tax Associate Elliot Michelson.
