International Women’s Day 2020 – 8 Women for 8 March

International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrates achievements and raises awareness of bias with an aim to take action for equality.

For us as a Firm, having a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture is critical to our success. Diversity in our people brings diversity of thought, ideas and innovation so that we develop as individuals and collectively as a Firm. That in turn means that we can better understand our clients and provide them with the best solutions.

This year’s IWD theme is #EachForEqual, which focusses on what we think and do as individuals to, collectively help work towards creating a more gender equal world. Managing Partner Simon Ridpath, encouraged everyone at the Firm to pledge a tangible action to support gender equality which they will aim to complete in the next year. The pledges were displayed on the pledge walls in each of our offices as a visual sign of commitment to a gender equal world.

For our video campaign, we asked 8 women for 8 March 2020, to share what International Women’s Day means to them, and their pledge for the year ahead to help achieve gender equality:
