Charles Russell Speechlys advises Predator Oil & Gas on oversubscribed placing
min readCharles Russell Speechlys has advised oil & natural gas producer Predator Oil & Gas Holdings plc on an oversubscribed placing of shares. The team advised Predator on its Main Market IPO in 2018 (which was also significantly oversubscribed), and has been the company’s English legal adviser ever since.
The company has a Trinidad based enhanced oil recovery project, as well as undertaking natural gas exploration onshore Morocco and holding exploration acreage offshore Ireland.
In Trinidad, the company has designed and costed its project and is due to commence operations in early 2020. In Morocco, Predator has partnered with the Moroccan state oil company to explore an area located close to the Maghreb gas pipeline. Off Ireland’s west coast, Predator has an exploration licence immediately adjacent to the Corrib gas field (which is the country’s largest established hydrocarbons project).
