Rebecca Burford featured in the Lawyer’s Hot 100 list

Corporate partner Rebecca Burford has been included in the Lawyer’s Hot 100 list, published today.

The prestigious list from leading UK legal magazine The Lawyer celebrates trailblazing lawyers from across the entire profession in the UK – private practice, in-house and the Bar.

Rebecca, who was promoted to Partner last year having joined Charles Russell Speechlys in 2015, is a corporate transactional specialist advising on investments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate reorganisations, with clients from across tech, digital, manufacturing, insurance and telecoms. She has led a number of interesting corporate deals, including two that are currently shortlisted for “Deal of the Year” at the Insider Deal Maker Awards, where she is also nominated for Corporate Lawyer of the Year for the South East. Rebecca recently spoke on a panel discussion about getting investment-ready at the Guildford GamesFest and will be shortly speaking at the inaugural Women in Business Influencers Forum.

The Lawyer said: “with expertise in gaming law, Burford’s mission to bring games to Guildford has commenced”.

Rebecca Burford said: “To be in the Hot 100 is a great accolade, and I’m humbled and delighted to have been included. I was one of two newly-promoted female Partners in Corporate last year so it’s wonderful to get this recognition from The Lawyer of our strong and evolving team.”
